Lee Rouson was born in and raised in North Carolina except for a short period of time when his family moved to New York City where his father was a body guard for Malcolm X. Lee was the first African American to break the color barrier in the Pop Warner youth football league in Greensboro and lettered in three sports at Page Senior High School. He went on to play college football at the University of Colorado in Boulder and was drafted into the NFL in 1985. God has gifted Lee to be a dynamic communicator, which is especially important for being a positive role model. His past NFL experience and personal testimony speak loudly of God's grace and transforming power. As a motivational speaker on leadership and living through challenging life events, Lee humbly leads men and women of all ages into deeper understandings of who they really are. |
